TechFlow News, according to Ripple's Q4 2023 XRP Market Report released recently, Ripple saw a daily trading volume of $600 million in the fourth quarter of 2023, an increase of over 75% compared to the low point in the previous quarter. The percentage of trading volume through fiat pairs in the fourth quarter remained similar to the prior quarter, hovering around 15%.
In the last quarter, the number of transactions on the XRP Ledger increased by 34%, while wallet counts grew by more than 30%. Over half of all NFT mints occurred in the fourth quarter, representing growth of over 400% compared to the third quarter.
As of December 31 of last year, Ripple held a total of 5.077 billion XRP, down from 5.258 billion XRP as of September 30. The total amount of XRP held in escrow was 40.7 billion, down from 41.3 billion as of September 30.
