TechFlow news — The official website of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has updated information on virtual asset exchange licensing applications, adding three new platforms: bitV, YAX, and Bullish. Their respective operating companies are HighBlock Limited, YAX (Hong Kong) Limited, and Bullish (GI) Limited.
Public records show that all three companies submitted their applications between February 6 and 7, and none have an applicable Chinese name.
To date, a total of 16 institutions have applied for a virtual asset exchange license with the SFC. Three applications have been rejected or withdrawn: Ammbr, BitHarbour, and Meex (rejected on February 7).
