TechFlow reports, according to Axios, that micropayment startup Code has raised $6.5 million in seed funding, co-led by M13 and Union Square Ventures (USV).
Code is now live with an application designed for online micropayments. The platform is built on the Kin (KIN) cryptocurrency, where value is measured in thousandths of a penny, aiming to make spending small amounts of money extremely easy.
In addition, the team has launched a developer platform and is preparing to release a new blogging tool that enables anyone to earn money through writing.
