TechFlow news, according to Bitcoin.com, FTX Australia creditors are expected to receive full refunds.
Previously, a judge ruled that only those who initiated AUD withdrawal requests would be entitled to recover part of the 26 million AUD, while other creditors would have to wait for payouts related to the U.S. bankruptcy proceedings of FTX Trading.
As of this week, FTX Trading's lawyers stated that there is now expected to be sufficient funds to fully satisfy all customer and creditor claims.
Kris Hansen, legal counsel for the FTX creditors' committee, noted that compensation will be based on cryptocurrency investors' purchase prices as of November 2022—the time when the exchange filed for bankruptcy.
