TechFlow news — Over the past few months, developers behind Celo, a decentralized social payments protocol, have been evaluating technical proposals from teams aiming to help migrate the project into a new Layer 2 network on Ethereum.
Tim Moreton, CEO of cLabs, the core development team behind Celo, wrote in a blog post on Thursday: "Having completed the technical assessment, we will now begin evaluating the non-technical dimensions described in our framework. Unlike assessing released software, this is difficult to predict precisely in terms of timeline, especially as candidates are actively finalizing economic terms and incentive programs."
He did not provide a specific timeline for when final recommendations would be made, but added: "We're working as quickly as possible to develop a comprehensive proposal we can confidently put forward."
