TechFlow reports that Ethereum restaking protocol EigenLayer has announced on X the introduction of three new LSTs—sfrxETH, mETH, and LsETH—into its ecosystem, removing the previous 200,000 ETH individual cap on LSTs.
The team is introducing a new method for allocating restaking points, which will cap allocations to any single LST, LRT, or individual deposit at 33% of future total issuance.
The team will lift the deposit pause from February 4, 20:00 to February 8, 20:00 Beijing time (February 5, 12:00 to February 9, 12:00 Pacific Time), during which sfrxETH, mETH, and LsETH will be added with no caps on any LST. After this period, all deposits will be paused again.
