TechFlow news — ZetaChain, a Layer 1 blockchain supporting omnichain fund transfers, has released details of its genesis airdrop on X, allocating a total of 31.5 million ZETA tokens to reward over 800,000 ZetaLabs users and contributors.
The snapshot date was August 20, 2023. Users who joined after the snapshot will have opportunities to participate in upcoming events.
Eligibility criteria for the airdrop:
- Users with accumulated ZETA points exceeding 50K are eligible for tiered base rewards based on inviter points and trader points.
- Top-tier inviters will receive additional rewards based on their total inviter points and the proportion of invitee points.
- Early participants in ZetaLabs will receive bonus multipliers on their base reward amount according to their join date.
- Users who had asset records on testnet and mainnet instances connected to ZetaChain will receive multiplier benefits.
- Tiered base reward amounts for inviters and traders range from 50 to 20,000 ZETA, and these tiers are not mutually exclusive.
Rewards will also be adjusted based on transaction type, bot group association, and participation date:
Connection date ranges and corresponding multipliers:
- 2022–08–01 to 2022–11–17: 25% multiplier
- 2022–11–18 to 2023–02–15: 10% multiplier
- 2023–02–15 to 2023–04–05: 5% multiplier
- 2023–04–05 to 2023–06–20: 2.5% multiplier
