TechFlow reports that a former member of a major trading firm has launched his own cryptocurrency hedge fund, Split Capital.
According to co-founder Zaheer Ebtikar, Split Capital will focus on liquid tokens and adopt a "long-biased" strategy, meaning it expects long-term price appreciation through active management.
Investors include Novi Loren, a venture capital fund; UTXO Management, a digital asset fund; and Dan Matuszewski, co-founder of digital asset fund CMS Holdings. Due to regulatory restrictions, Ebtikar declined to disclose the fund's size.
