TechFlow News, according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), MIIT's Department of Science and Technology today released the "Public Announcement on the Establishment Plan of the Metaverse Standardization Working Group."
The document states that based on industrial development and sector management needs, relevant organizations have proposed the establishment plan for the Metaverse Standardization Working Group. To further solicit opinions from all sectors of society, the list of proposed members is now being made public for comment, with feedback due by February 18, 2024. The list includes 60 individuals, with Fan Shujian, Deputy Director of MIIT's Department of Science and Technology, serving as Chairperson.
