TechFlow news, according to TechCrunch, Inception Capital (formerly OP Crypto) has closed its first fund with $30 million in total capital raised.
The fund, named Inception I LP, primarily targets family offices and high-net-worth individuals seeking diversified exposure to early-stage crypto venture investments. Its investors include Mirana, FJ Labs, and Serafund.
David Gan, founder and general partner at Inception Capital, said: "The vehicle is designed to invest in around five new investment managers or funds each year, rather than backing specific projects, protocols, or startups. We allocate capital to other institutional managers and gain access to a highly diversified portfolio through their investments."
