TechFlow news, on January 17 at the Sui Foundation press conference in Gangnam, Seoul, Greg Ciurunis, Managing Director of the Sui Foundation, pointed out that the integration of blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) is a hot topic for the organization this year, as blockchain helps enhance trust in data for AI. The Sui blockchain is a blockchain suitable for AI.
The Sui Foundation also plans to establish offices in Dubai, Switzerland, and Turkey to further expand its influence. Ciurunis reiterated the importance of the Korean market. The Sui Foundation is preparing to collaborate with South Korean universities on blockchain education initiatives.
Regarding the circulating supply controversy, he reaffirmed that all relevant data is publicly transparent. Earlier, when the controversy arose, the Sui Foundation stated, "We will consider making the Sui Foundation wallet addresses public."
However, when asked about any progress in this regard, he responded: "Publicly disclosing wallet addresses does not align with the values of Web3 technology." He explained that in blockchains emphasizing anonymity and personal privacy, revealing wallet addresses is difficult. He added that from a security standpoint, disclosing wallet addresses also poses risks. Anyone could potentially infer the foundation's wallet addresses based on on-chain data and examine related activities.
