TechFlow news: The Hedera Council has announced a grant of 4.86 billion HBAR, primarily aimed at supporting initiatives such as the HBAR Foundation, Hashgraph Association, and the DLT Science Foundation. Grants to the HBAR Foundation and Hashgraph Association will be allocated in the first quarter of 2024, while funding for the DLT Science Foundation will be disbursed upon achieving milestones throughout the year.
A separate allocation of 614.06 million HBAR has been designated for the operational expenses of the Hedera Council. This grant also includes payments to early SAFT (Simple Agreement for Future Tokens) purchasers, fulfilling the Council’s commitments to its early supporters and providing greater confidence to potential future investors.
