TechFlow news — CoinGecko has released a report stating that 21 out of the top 50 global fashion brands own NFTs, slightly less than half (42%). Among these 21 fashion brands owning NFTs, nine have only one NFT collection, while six each have just two NFT collections.
Furthermore, most fashion NFT collections can be considered insignificant, with low awareness or impact, as brands have allocated minimal resources to them compared to their overall marketing efforts. This suggests that even though traditional fashion brands are willing to explore NFTs, most remain cautious and currently do not view NFTs as a meaningful part of their marketing strategies.
