TechFlow news: BNB Chain has announced a six-month roadmap for the BNB Beacon Chain.
Detailed milestones:
January milestone: Notify all validators and staking pools about the deactivation of staking functions; bind BEP2/BEP8 assets to the BNB Smart Chain (BSC); integrate with various wallets to support cross-chain withdrawals of BEP2/BEP8 assets; centralized exchanges, particularly Binance (BN), as well as wallets such as Trust Wallet (TW), are advised to stop transferring assets to the Beacon Chain.
February milestone: Bridge services will have atomic swap functionality disabled by April.
April milestone: Fully migrate all validators to BSC; all validators must transfer their voting power.
May milestone: Users and delegators are advised to verify their automatic refund balances; generate balance backups and publish them for community verification to enhance transparency and trust.
June milestone: Launch the token migration application to help users retrieve funds still remaining on the Beacon Chain.
