TechFlow reports that Orbit Chain has announced on X that the final negotiation deadline for the vulnerability has ended at 10:00 a.m. today (UTC+9). A public bounty is now being issued, with a top reward of $8 million.
The bounty will be awarded to anyone who provides decisive information leading to the identification of the attacker or the recovery of the stolen assets.
Earlier report: On January 9, cross-chain protocol Orbit Chain announced it had sent a final negotiation notice to the attacker, stating that all communications based on standard protocols—including vulnerability bounties—would expire at 9:00 a.m. Beijing time on January 11. If the attacker does not respond or rejects the proposal, the Orbit Chain team will open the bounty to the public and continue tracking the attacker with active support from global contributors.
