TechFlow news, according to CoinDesk, the European Central Bank (ECB) is seriously considering enabling offline usage for the digital euro. The ECB has recently issued five calls for applications, seeking providers to build digital euro services. The bank plans to allocate more than half of its 1.2 billion euro (1.3 billion dollar) contract budget toward developing offline payment functionality.
