Regional experts suggest Hong Kong could become the next hub in Asia to launch spot cryptocurrency ETFs.
Brian Hoonjong Baik, co-founder and COO of cryptocurrency management platform SmashFi, supports the view that the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF approval will significantly impact Asia: "Since the early days of Bitcoin, Asian investors have been more risk-tolerant than their Western counterparts. ETFs represent a perfect convergence between crypto and regulation, alleviating concerns among institutional investors who have long sought a legitimate way to build cryptocurrency portfolios."
