TechFlow reports that the lightweight blockchain protocol Mina Protocol plans to deploy its Berkeley upgrade in 2024. The upgrade will bring the following benefits:
-
All transactions, account updates, and application interactions will include ZK proofs;
-
Adoption of a TypeScript library as part of its development stack to simplify development;
-
A focus on building efficient Mina verifiers and bridges on EVM chains. Mina is expected to become a validium on EVM chains, achieving greater interoperability through collaboration with the Optimism Collective.
