TechFlow news — According to Bitcoin Magazine, the Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe) has approved Fidelity's application for listing its spot bitcoin ETF.
In response, Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart said, "My understanding is that this is merely a securities registration. For the ETF to list, it still requires 19b-4 approval and a final S-1 filing following such approval. There’s no 19b-4 yet, and the S-1 remains in preliminary form. I’m still expecting it next week."
