TechFlow reports, according to Ripple's latest report, by the end of the third quarter, the company held 5.25 billion XRP in its corporate accounts. Additionally, over 41 billion XRP were held in escrow wallets, with 1 billion XRP released monthly, some of which are used for sales or operational expenses.
The report states that from July to September, Ripple sold nearly 892 million XRP, but typically redeposits most received XRP back into escrow wallets.
Based on the release and re-escrow pattern, the company estimates that the 40 billion XRP in escrow will be fully released by early 2027. However, due to company practices, the final release date may be delayed.
