TechFlow reported, according to Reuters, that El Salvador's Congress passed an immigration bill on December 21 allowing foreigners who "donate" bitcoin to the government's social and economic development projects to obtain fast-track citizenship. The bill is expected to take effect in the coming days.
The bill does not specify a minimum "donation" requirement.
Previous report, El Salvador launched a free visa program, granting citizenship to those investing $1 million worth of BTC or USDT.
