TechFlow reports, Belgian Digital Minister Mathieu Michel said in an interview with CoinDesk that Belgium will provide political momentum for Europe's ambitious blockchain initiative when it assumes the presidency of the Council of the European Union in January.
Mathieu Michel has already shared his ambitious vision for a EU-wide digital infrastructure capable of storing items such as driver's licenses and property ownership records on public blockchains controlled by governments across the European Union.
