TechFlow news — According to an announcement by the decentralized exchange protocol Tokenlon, Tokenlon has adjusted its Bitcoin cross-chain gateway service policy, ceasing services for individual investors. The imBTC redemption channel will be shut down on December 31, 2023, at 23:59 (UTC+8), and the service will in the future only serve institutional clients.
It is reported that to help community users bridge BTC tokens to the Ethereum network, Tokenlon launched its Bitcoin cross-chain gateway service and introduced imBTC (a 1:1 BTC-pegged token) at the end of 2019. To date, it has served a total of 4,555 addresses, processing 127,509 transactions.
