TechFlow reports that cryptocurrency media outlet Decrypt plans to merge with Web3 audio and video platform Rug Radio. The two companies will form a new holding company, maintaining their respective brands and independence, and intend to establish an exclusive partnership with Arbitrum.
Following the merger, Josh Quitner, CEO of Decrypt, will serve as chairman, while Loxley Fernandes, Co-CEO of Rug Radio, and founder Farokh Sarmad will serve as CEO and President, respectively.
Decrypt aims to expand its business beyond blockchain by broadening its coverage into areas such as longevity and emerging technologies/artificial intelligence.
