TechFlow reported that a proposal to reward anonymous developer "KP" by the Compound DAO failed to pass community voting. The developer discovered and fixed a potential fund theft vulnerability, which has been verified and reported to Compound and OpenZeppelin. Although over two-thirds of votes supported the proposal, it ultimately did not meet the 400,000-vote threshold. KP had requested $125,000 in rewards, slightly above 80% of the maximum bug bounty limit. Polychain, the largest holder of COMP, abstained from voting, while Wintermute voted in favor. KP has since resubmitted the proposal, now seeking $100,000 in rewards.
