TechFlow news: The dYdX Foundation has created a DRC for a "Seed Insurance Fund," including a proposal to transfer DYDX from the community treasury to Wintermute, seeding the dYdX chain's insurance fund with approximately 1 million USDC.
Once full trading is enabled, the insurance fund will be around 5,882.42 USDC. Compared to a daily trading volume reaching $326M, traders on the dYdX chain could benefit from the substantial insurance fund. Wintermute is interested in contributing approximately 1M USDC to the insurance fund by purchasing ETHDYDX at a 10% discount from its mid-price on Binance.
If the proposal passes, Wintermute will post relevant details on the forum after confirming the transaction is completed.
