TechFlow news: The Lido community has proposed a new initiative for the DAO to consider adopting the cross-chain token standard xERC20 for wstETH, aiming to ensure that the Lido DAO retains ownership and control over the wstETH token contract across different chains and bridges, while providing flexibility to add or remove bridges.
To achieve this goal, LidoDAO has already implemented AMM pools within the current system, enabling cross-chain transfers of wstETH via third-party bridges.
