TechFlow news: The open interest in CME's futures has reached $5.2 billion, $200 million less than the all-time high recorded in late October 2021.
Sycamore, an analyst at IG Australia, explained that a report submitted by CME to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission on November 28 showed that its main participants held a net short position at the time, with 20,724 short positions versus 18,979 long positions. He added that investors won't be able to accurately understand the positioning of CME participants until the exchange releases its latest report on Tuesday, December 12.
