TechFlow reports, web3 development platform ThirdWeb has announced the discovery of a security vulnerability in a commonly used open-source library in the web3 industry. Smart contracts potentially affected include DropERC20, ERC721, ERC1155, and AirdropERC20.
ThirdWeb further stated that if you deployed one of these pre-built smart contracts using ThirdWeb's dashboard or SDK before 7 PM on November 22, you need to take steps to fix the vulnerability.
Cosine, founder of SlowMist, warned that projects which used the thirdweb platform to develop smart contracts may be impacted (especially those prior to November 22), and users who have interacted with or authorized such projects could also have their assets at risk.
