TechFlow news, Christine Kim, Vice President at blockchain research firm Galaxy, summarized the 123rd Ethereum core developer consensus (ACDC) call.
It was noted on the call that the Cancun/Deneb upgrade activated on Devnet 12 on November 30. Teku, Lodestar, and Lighthouse client software, along with all execution layer (EL) client software, are currently being tested on Devnet 12.
Meanwhile, the Nimbus client team is addressing validator exit issues on Devnet 11, which will remain operational until these issues are resolved.
Since the CL client Prysm has not yet joined Devnet 12, developers decided to postpone the planned Goerli shadow fork until Prysm client software is ready for testing. Tim Beiko suggested launching the Goerli shadow fork at some point before year-end. Additionally, the meeting discussed clarifying the specifications for BlockByRoot and BlobSidecarsByRoot requests to explicitly state whether CL nodes should respond to these requests in a specific order.
