TechFlow news: Axiom, the Ethereum ZK coprocessor, has released Axiom V2, providing smart contract developers with ZK-verified computational capabilities.
The new version simplifies ZK usage, allowing developers to integrate using Solidity and JavaScript without needing to learn a new language or deploy complex ZK verification contracts.
Axiom V2 enables developers to read any on-chain data from Ethereum's history, including block headers, accounts, contract storage, transactions, and receipts.
A beta version has been deployed on the Goerli testnet, with mainnet deployment scheduled after completion of security audits.
New features include ZK-verified access to transaction and receipt data, as well as ZK-verified computation via a JavaScript interface.
Developers can integrate Axiom V2 into smart contracts using the Axiom Client SDK and verify results on-chain through callback interfaces. Axiom V2 is currently undergoing audit and is not recommended for production use at this time. Future plans include L2 and cross-chain support, along with the gradual addition of more accessible ZK primitives.
