TechFlow news: Web3 video streaming platform Rad has announced the completion of a new funding round led by Ayre Ventures.
Rad has also integrated the BSV blockchain to streamline transactional video-on-demand (TVOD) and the publishing and purchasing process for NFT videos. Additionally, Rad has partnered with HandCash to simplify payment procedures.
This means users can create and purchase content on Rad without requiring browser extensions, and supports future integration of any payment type, including payments in fiat currency.
The platform offers unique opportunities for creators and studios to publish content by uploading videos via Rad, setting metadata and pricing, and enabling revenue splits and royalties for multiple recipients. This innovation will enable actors and writers to receive prompt and transparent compensation, redefining the contracting and payment processes for selling premium content online.
