TechFlow reports that Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko published an article on X summarizing the latest Ethereum Core Developer Execution (ACDE) meeting. He noted that the team is fully focused on implementing the latest CL specification changes and actively working to eliminate any potential bugs.
Developers agreed to launch Devnet 12 next week, even if not all teams are ready. In addition, he emphasized the shutdown of Goerli, reminding validator teams and EF developers operating on Goerli that once Dencun goes live on Goerli, Goerli validators will be deactivated either three months after the Goerli Dencun upgrade or one month after the mainnet Dencun upgrade, whichever comes first.
Following the shutdown deadline, the team plans to conduct a one-month chaos testing period, including slashing tests. Furthermore, Beiko pointed out that Dencun will be the final upgrade to go live on testnets. Therefore, he recommended users who still rely on Goerli as a stable testnet migrate to alternative networks to ensure a smooth transition.
