TechFlow news, an X platform user @pourteaux shared an email received from the MtGox bankruptcy trustee titled "Notice Regarding Commencement of Repayments." According to the email, the MtGox bankruptcy trustee plans to begin making payments to creditors soon and is striving to initiate cash disbursements within 2023.
Earlier reports indicated that MtGox's repayment types include basic repayment, advance lump-sum repayment, and interim repayment, with a repayment deadline of October 31, 2024. MtGox stated that creditors who have already provided necessary information to the trustee will receive repayments sequentially by the end of this year.
