TechFlow news, according to Reuters citing sources familiar with the matter, U.S. government authorities are expected to announce a settlement agreement with Binance on Tuesday, resolving years-long investigations into the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange.
The sources said the deal will involve charges against individuals and resolve allegations of violations of the Bank Secrecy Act and other U.S. laws. Multiple U.S. agencies involved include the Department of Justice, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and the Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.
