TechFlow news, research and development organization Dfinity Foundation has partnered with AI-focused blockchain company SingularityNET to enhance decentralized AI infrastructure and enable decentralized applications (DApps) on the Internet Computer blockchain to access large language models (LLMs).
On November 20, the two companies announced a joint initiative to integrate the ICP blockchain with the SingularityNET marketplace. The initiative aims to address the lack of transparency in training data for AI tools caused by their centralized nature. Both organizations believe decentralized AI models will make them tamper-proof and transparent.
Through this collaboration, blockchain developers seeking to integrate AI can leverage the ICP network. The announcement emphasized that decentralized AI models on ICP operate within smart contracts, making LLM training parameters tamper-proof and open-source.
In addition to blockchain integration, the two organizations will also connect their grant programs. According to the announcement, this move aims to "stimulate community developer participation" and provide resources to advance decentralized AI.
