TechFlow News — Web3 technology company BLOCKSMITH announced the successful completion of its pre-seed funding round, attracting investments from SBI Group, Headline Asia, and J-CAM Corporation. Previously, the company was wholly owned by its parent company KLab Inc. and founder Tetsuya Sanada. This marks the first time external capital has been brought in, aimed at strengthening the company's financial position and preparing for a potential listing. Funds raised will be allocated toward product development, research, and related initiatives.
BLOCKSMITH has a proven track record in blockchain development and operations, including delivering "Captain Tsubasa -RIVALS-" for the Thirdverse Group. In addition to developing blockchain games, the company is focused on advancing related technologies, such as establishing an AI lab and announcing a business collaboration with Facial Recognition Web3 Wallet in September 2023.
