TechFlow news: Ethereum Name Service (ENS) has announced the open-sourcing of its EVM Gateway, which is now available for early use on the Optimism FND mainnet and Goerli. ENS stated that the gateway forms the foundation of the next-generation L2 resolver and marks the first step in its L2 roadmap.
The EVM Gateway is an open-source repository comprising a universal CCIP-Read gateway framework and a Solidity library. It enables L1 smart contracts to efficiently and securely fetch and verify state from other EVM chains (L2s).
