TechFlow, according to Bloomberg citing two sources familiar with the matter, Pravjit Tiwana, who previously worked at Amazon and Disney, will leave his position as Chief Technology Officer at Gemini this month.
Tiwana also served as CEO for Gemini's Asia-Pacific region. He joined Gemini in January 2022, overseeing product, engineering, and design, and was instrumental in establishing the company's operations in India.
Prior to joining Gemini, Tiwana spent over six years at Amazon as a General Manager. As CTO, he sought to align Gemini’s corporate culture more closely with Amazon’s, an effort that reportedly led to the departure of some employees.
Earlier this year, Noah Perlman, Gemini’s former Chief Operating Officer, left to join Binance. Gemini is currently facing intense regulatory scrutiny, with the SEC accusing Genesis and Gemini of offering and selling unregistered securities.
