TechFlow — According to information disclosed on the official website of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), the list of unlicensed companies and suspicious virtual asset trading platforms has been updated, with one new suspicious platform, "HOUNAX," added on November 1.
The remarks indicate that "HOUNAX" claims to be a cryptocurrency trading platform and appears to target Hong Kong investors, particularly by pre-filling the "+852" country code field on its user login page, and by operating social media channels titled "Hounax Hong Kong" on Facebook, X, and YouTube. As of now, the SFC has identified a total of seven suspicious virtual asset trading platforms.
