TechFlow reports that the Cosmos Hub community has proposed a new budget plan to allocate $5.7 million (30% ATOM and 70% USDC) plus 100,000 ATOM as performance bonuses to Informal Systems and Hypha Worker Co-op for maintaining the Interchain Security Protocol, updating the Cosmos Hub Gaia core software, and optimizing testnet programs.
If approved, 1,117,857.14 ATOM will be released to the liquidation multisig address. The proposal also includes a supervisory committee and vesting mechanism to ensure accountability and work quality.
Currently, opposition to the proposal stands at 42.7%, while support is at 8.8%. Informal Systems is the core development team for Cosmos Hub, while Hypha Worker Co-op focuses on consumer chains.
