TechFlow news: Arbitrum announced on the X platform that it is ready to launch the Orbit mainnet.
Arbitrum Orbit can be understood as a universal modular Layer 3 stack, enabling developers to easily and permissionlessly launch their own Layer 3 blockchains within the Arbitrum ecosystem.
Arbitrum stated that developers can leverage its data availability solution to achieve ultra-low transaction fees under one cent, without compromising high security and minimal trust assumptions. They can write smart contracts using Rust, C, and C++, maintain full EVM compatibility, save over 10x on gas costs for complex cryptographic transactions, while preserving complete EVM compatibility for Orbit chains.
Previously, the Arbitrum Foundation hinted yesterday on the X platform that a major announcement would come today.
