TechFlow reports that, according to official announcements, the OKX Web3 wallet browser extension now supports BTC Testnet, becoming the first multi-chain wallet to offer such support. Users can easily create and manage BTC Testnet wallets through version 2.66.0 or higher of the OKX Web3 wallet extension, significantly lowering the barrier to entry for participating in the Bitcoin ecosystem and enhancing transaction experiences. Additionally, the OKX Web3 wallet extension offers APIs for developers to call, facilitating easier access for BTC ecosystem developers.
Notably, OKX has been an early supporter and contributor to the Bitcoin ecosystem. Two years ago, it began supporting the Bitcoin Lightning Network and has since led industry efforts in co-developing the BRC-20 standard through continuous product innovation. The OKX Web3 Wallet was the first multi-chain wallet to support Ordinals and has launched several key features, including zero-fee transactions for BTC NFTs and BRC-20 tokens, as well as optimized gas-path cross-chain BTC swaps. It has become one of the most popular Web3 wallets supporting the Bitcoin ecosystem.
