TechFlow reported, according to a Devconnect announcement: "Every time we host an event, we assess the risks involved. The current threat specifically targeting the Devconnect event is low; however, there is significant risk of large-scale protests, targeted violence, or civil unrest across communities in Istanbul. These risks could increase in the coming weeks if the conflict between Israel and Gaza escalates. Israelis, Israeli nationals, and individuals of Jewish faith or descent face serious risks. Israel has issued a notice warning all Israelis in the country to immediately leave Turkey."
"Therefore, we strongly advise high-risk groups to take these warnings seriously and reconsider their travel plans, while we continue evaluating recommendations for others and working to clarify the status of the EF-organized Devconnect event."
