TechFlow news — According to the official announcement, OKX Web3 Wallet has officially launched full historical authorization analysis, currently supporting major networks including Ethereum, OKTC, BNB Chain, Polygon, Avalanche C, Fantom, Optimism, Arbitrum One, Gnosis, and zkSync Era. This feature aims to help users comprehensively view and manage their authorization records and promptly mitigate risks. Users can access the OKX Web3 Wallet homepage and click "Authorization" to view and manage all wallet authorization records.
Wallet authorization refers to granting smart contracts access to part or all of a user's wallet assets, enhancing security and operational flexibility for on-chain assets. However, such authorizations also allow smart contracts to transfer user assets without requiring additional user signatures. OKX warns that due to the open nature of on-chain contract deployments, fraudulent and phishing contracts frequently appear. Hackers may exploit authorization actions to maliciously charge excessive Gas fees. When authorizing or revoking authorizations, users should carefully verify whether the estimated Gas fee is abnormal and proceed cautiously to avoid unnecessary financial loss.
