TechFlow reported that Marinade Finance, Solana's largest DeFi protocol, has blocked UK users from accessing its website due to "compliance concerns" regarding regulations set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
The landing page for UK users displays a warning message, although it notes that "users can still withdraw liquidity, claim delayed tickets, or initiate undelegation via our SDK."
In addition, Orca Finance, Solana's largest decentralized exchange, has implemented geo-blocking for UK users. The restrictions targeting UK users appear to be in response to the FCA's new promotional rules, which limit the marketing of crypto-related products or services.
