TechFlow reported, according to CoinDesk, that Web3 file management application Fileverse has raised $1.5 million in a seed funding round led by Gnosis Chain and venture capital firm Factor. Participants in the round include crypto wallet provider Safe, social media privacy solution Mask Network, decentralized storage platform Arweave Ecosystem and its ecosystem incubator Forward Research, Web3 credential network Galxe, and Balaji Srinivasan, former CTO of Coinbase.
Fileverse offers decentralized file management and collaboration services, aiming to give users greater ownership of their personal data, providing an alternative to centralized providers like Google or Notion. The platform leverages smart contracts and stores encrypted data on the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS).
