According to an announcement on October 15, the Solana Foundation revealed a partnership with Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) to provide blockchain technology and business development support to members of the DMCC Crypto Centre, along with Web3-focused workshops and educational programs. Additionally, Solana will expand its grant program within DMCC.
DMCC CEO Ahmed Bin Sulayem stated that Solana partners operating through DMCC will receive special benefits, including free setup and business licensing, as well as dedicated engineering team support from Solana.
DMCC's ecosystem partners include cryptocurrency exchange Bybit, digital asset market maker DWF Labs, Web3 incubator TDeFi, and venture capital fund Brinc, among others. The total number of DMCC members has reached 23,000 companies.
As of September 2023, the Solana network ranked tenth globally in terms of total value locked (TVL), amounting to approximately $359 million.
