TechFlow reports that SocialFi app Tomo has launched on ConsenSys' Layer 2 network Linea and is available for download on the App Store or Google Play. Tomo integrates a crypto wallet into its functionality, enabling users to seamlessly perform automated cross-chain swaps between Ethereum and Linea.
Additionally, Tomo allows users to register using X, Gmail, or Apple accounts. Before creators join Tomo, users can express their interest by voting. If a creator has not yet joined, users may purchase votes, which will be converted into Keys once the creator joins the platform.
Tomo charges a 10% fee on every transaction, whether related to votes or Keys.
-
When trading votes, 5% of the fee goes to the platform and 5% is reserved for the creator to claim upon joining. If the creator does not join within six months of the first vote purchase, the platform portion of the fee is reallocated back to the voters. Vote holders can unlock exclusive group chats to coordinate strategies for recruiting creators.
-
When trading Keys, 5% of the fee goes directly to the creator and 5% to the platform.
