TechFlow reported, according to Blockworks, Stride, a liquid staking project in the Cosmos ecosystem, will pause its plan to convert its native token STRD into ATOM of Cosmos Hub.
The Stride team stated on Twitter that after a week of public discussion, both the Cosmos Hub and Stride communities have paused the conversion of STRD to ATOM. The plan can be considered shelved but not entirely abandoned. Given the responses from the Cosmos Hub and Stride communities, there are currently too many divisions regarding the feasibility of the conversion idea, and insufficient consensus has been reached. This situation might change at some point in the future, but for now, it would be inappropriate to move forward with specific details about the conversion.
Previously, Stride released a proposal on October 9 aiming to convert all STRD tokens into ATOM, under which ATOM would become the sole governance token and be eligible to receive all rewards from the Stride protocol.
